Adana

The Turkish city of Adana is located in the south of Turkey, directly on the Seyhan River and is the capital of the Adana Vilayet. It is close to Syria and about 50 km from the coast. Today, the city is known for its film festival, spectacular natural scenery and local cuisine, from which the world-famous Adana kebab recipe originates. Adana is one of Turkey's most dynamic cities and a frequently visited destination by locals and foreigners alike. It is located in the historical Çukurova Field region, which is known for its fertile soils and amazing rock formations.
