Amiens
The city of Amiens, located in the north of France, is home to the largest sacred building in France, the Gothic Notre-Dame Cathedral. Included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1981, this cultural monument is one of numerous historical sights. Tradition, art and history characterize this lovely city on the Somme, which is also known for its so-called "floating" gardens and markets. Regularly held festivals, charming terraces of cafes and restaurants and versatile inspirations of an artistic nature invite you to linger and relax in the beautiful Hauts-de-France region.
