Bali is a relatively small island, covering only about 5700 km². Nevertheless, it combines an impressive variety of attractions, which explains the popularity of the island among tourists. Particularly spectacular are the natural spectacles that Bali has to offer: Gigantic volcanoes - for example the Gunung Agung with an elevation of 3000 meters -, rice fields, which are terraced and partly belong to the world heritage of UNESCO or natural as well as artificially created coral reefs make the heart of every nature lover beat faster. But also culture fans come on Bali fully at their expense, finally one calls the island not for nothing island of the thousand temples. On the forested hills, on lakeshores, next to rice paddies - almost everywhere you can find large or small temples, where ceremonies are held regularly.
