Beaches in Nizza

Underneath the Promenade des Anglais, Nice's beaches extend on a stretch from the airport to the castle hill on approximately seven kilometres at the Baie des Anges. The purely pebble sections are partly in private hands or are also managed by the surrounding hotels. For an average amount of 8 euros, one can rent a deck chair at one of the beach sections. The exact price depends on the beach visited. Considering the fine pebbles, this is quite recommendable for a comfortable stay at the beach. As a rule, the managed beaches are guarded by lifeguards.

Opéra Plage

The most famous beach of Nice is the Opéra Plage, located in the area of Vieux Nice. Here, there are concerts, exhibitions and other special events that go far beyond a normal beach life. Of course, with beach volleyball, water skiing and other sports, there is also plenty of entertainment.

Neptune Beach

Neptune Beach is located opposite the famous Negresco Hotel. Here, too, the guest is offered numerous sports possibilities. And at the Neptune, the physical well-being is not neglected either, as a restaurant with a terrace is at the disposal of hungry bathers.

Forum Beach

Nearby is the Forum beach, with its WiFi zone and its chic, curtained resting platforms, which will attract lovers of stillness in particular.

Castel Plage

If you like to be seen and be where it's hip and in, you should choose Castel Plage. Here, specially the young people meet and already from spring time, there is a lot of activity. The Castel Plage is located close to the flower market at the Cours Saleya.

Bambou beach

In the middle of the promenade there is the Bambou beach, which is ideal for family holidays. In addition to a children's playground, there is even a dedicated swimming pool here.
