Bockenem

Bockenem is a German city in the southeast of the federal state of Lower Saxony. It is located in the district of Hildesheim, around 20 km southeast of the district city Hildesheim. There are about 9.900 inhabitants living in Bockenem.

Bockenem also includes the formerly independent municipalities of Bornum am Harz, Jerze, Mahlum, Ortshausen, Schlewecke, Volkersheim, Bönnien, Bültum, Groß Ilde, Hary, Klein Ilde, Königsdahlum, Nette, Störy, Upstedt, Werder and Wohlenhausen.
