Chad is a landlocked country in central Africa bordered by Libya, Sudan, the Central African Republic, Cameroon, Nigeria and Niger. Chad's natural environment includes a desert zone in the north, an arid Sahelian belt in the center, and a more fertile Sudanese savanna zone in the south. Major attractions include Zakouma National Park, Lake Lac Chad, the Ennedi Desert, and the Tibesti Mountains.
