Guinea is a West African coastal state bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, Mali, Côte d'Ivoire, Sierra Leone and Liberia. The country's economy is primarily dependent on agriculture and mineral production. Guinea is the second largest producer of bauxite in the world and has significant diamond and gold deposits. Major attractions include the Chutes de la Sala waterfall and the Haut Niger National Park.
