The Seychelles are an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of Africa. The archipelago is known for its picturesque white sand beaches, coral reefs and nature reserves, as well as rare animals such as the Aldabra giant tortoises. The capital, Victoria, is located on the island of Mahé, which is also home to the Morne Seychellois National Park. In addition to the beaches, the most popular attractions include the Aldabra Atoll, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the islands' unique wildlife.
