Across Stockholm from Sickla to Solna
The Tvärbanan (literally: crossway) is a tramway that runs across Stockholm, linking several metro and regional train lines.
From Sickla in the south of Stockholm, the Tvärbana runs around the city centre in a kind of semicircle via Stora Essingen and Alvik to Solna. In the process, it crosses numerous other lines, offering many opportunities to change trains:
- Subway (green line): in Alvik, Globen and Gullmarsplan
- Subway (red line): in Liljeholmen
- Subway (blue line): in Sundbybergs centrum and Solna centrum
- Pendeltåg: in Årstaberg, Sundbybergs centrum and Solna station
- Nockebybana: in Alvik
