Elba is an Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea and belongs to Tuscany, more precisely to the province of Livorno. Those interested can reach the island by ferry from Piombino Marittimo or by hydrofoil. Extensive beaches, golden sand, deep blue sea: Elba knows how to spoil its visitors. Sports enthusiasts can indulge in various water sports or explore the diversity of the island on an extended hiking tour. The past of the fish-shaped island is also impressive. None other than Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled to Elba in 1814. The flag of the history-rich island is dressed by three bees. There is a reason for this: Elba is considered one of the best honey producers in Italy.
