For many regulars, Falster is the Danish island with the most beautiful beach of all. Lovely white sand and a shallow sloping shore make it the perfect place for a family vacation with young children. Marielyst is the lively little vacation center with stores, cafes, ice cream stands and everything. Nature lovers are also in the right place on Falster, as the coastal forest Corselitze Skov or the Horreby Lyng Moor are just two of the destinations you should definitely head for. Cattle and wild horses live in Bøtø Park and ornithologists can observe many different bird species. Gedser is also the southernmost point of Denmark on this island.
