The ferry from Aegiali to Iraklia connects the two Cyclades islands
Amorgos and
Iraklia in Greece. The route is offered up to 3 times a week by the shipping company
Small Cyclades Lines. The journey time is about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Iraklia
Iraklia belongs to the Small Cyclades and although Iraklia is the largest island, it is the most sparsely populated, with two quiet settlements and a mostly mountainous area. The only road on the island starts in Agios Georgios, passes through Livadi beach (the most beautiful beach on Iraklia) continues to Panagia and ends in Turkopigado bay with a pebbly beach.
The ferry port on the island of Iraklia offers connections to the other Greek islands of Donoussa, Koufonissi, Paros, Amorgos, Syros, Schinoussa and Naxos, as well as to the ferry port of Piraeus on the Greek mainland. A total of 9 routes are offered here several times a day by the shipping companies Blue Star Ferries, Small Cyclades Lines and SeaJets.
