Leros
Vacation without the sometimes perceived as annoying tourist boom you can make and enjoy on Leros. On the 75 km² island in the southern Aegean Sea live less than 10,000 inhabitants. The small, one could say idyllic village of Panteli is considered the most beautiful place on the island. Bathing at Panteli Beach is possible in the small bay at any time of the year. A day trip with the pirate ship to the small island of Arki is a must for your vacation on Leros. The excursion boat departs from Agia Marina in the morning and heads for different destinations every weekday.
The ferry port on the island of Leros offers connections to the other Greek islands of Agathonisi, Chios, Rhodes, Fournoi, Symi, Arki, Ikaria, Syros, Kasos, Limnos, Lesbos, Samos, Lipsi, Karpathos, Patmos, Kalymnos, Kos and Astypalea, as well as to the ports of Piraeus and Kavala on the Greek mainland.
