China is located in East Asia, bordering the East China Sea and the South China Sea. The main ferry ports are Shanghai, Tianjin, Qingdao and Shenzhen. International ferry lines connect China with South Korea (Incheon) and Japan (Osaka, Kobe). For example, from Shanghai there are ferry services to Osaka and Kobe in Japan, while Qingdao and Tianjin offer routes to Incheon in South Korea. National connections exist to various islands such as Hainan, as well as to Hong Kong and Macao.
