Salina
Salina is considered the most beautiful of the Lipari Islands. Full of greenery, it presents itself with its two extinct volcanoes, of which Monte Fossa delle Felci, at 962 meters, is the highest peak of the entire archipelago. The view from one of the villas over the azure sea is breathtaking. Malvasia wine, olives and capers thrive here. Beautiful small villages invite you to stroll between palm trees, bougainvilleas and rose bushes. In Lingua and Rinella you will find small beaches with black sand. Bed castles and mass tourism are not to be found here. You can experience real dolce vita while walking and dreaming in one of the trattorias.
The ferry port on the island of Salina offers connections to the Italian islands of Stromboli, Sicily, Panarea, Vulcano and Lipari, as well as to the ports of Vibo Valentia, Sapri, Reggio Calabria, Naples and Ginostra on the Italian mainland.
