Anafi
Anafi is still something of an insider's tip of the Cyclades, as this island has not yet been particularly developed for tourism and is only served by a few ferries. If you still dare to come here, you will be welcomed by a warm and honest hospitality and (almost) untouched nature. If you are looking for big shopping opportunities and parties, you will not find them here - life on Anafi is rather contemplative and modest, but equally beautiful and authentic.
The ferry port on the island of Anafi offers connections to the other Greek islands of Rhodes, Thira, Paros, Chalki, Ios, Kasos, Crete, Milos, Karpathos and Naxos, as well as to the ferry port of Piraeus on the Greek mainland. A total of 13 routes are offered here several times a day by the shipping companies Blue Star Fer ries and Anek Lines.
Ios
If you are looking for a party, you can't avoid the island of Ios. It is considered the true center of nightlife in the Cyclades and is therefore especially popular with young people. However, if you are an early riser and like to have the beach to yourself, you will probably also find your happiness here - because due to the party nights, it usually only gets a bit livelier on the beaches in the afternoon. Worth seeing are especially the monastery Agia Ioannis and the regional wine growing.
The ferry port on the island of Ios offers connections to the other Greek islands of Tinos, Folegandros, Amorgos, Mykonos, Kimolos, Thira, Thirasia, Paros, Serifos, Milos, Kythnos, Crete, Syros, Naxos, Sikinos, Koufonissi, Kea, Sifnos and Anafi, as well as to the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio on the Greek mainland. A total of 22 routes are offered here several times a day by the shipping companies Cyclades Fast Ferries, SeaJets, Golden Star Ferries, Blue Star Ferries, Aegean Sea Lines, Small Cyclades Lines, Zante Fer ries and Hellenic Seaways.
