Karpathos
The Dodecanese island of Karpathos is located approximately halfway between Crete and Rhodes and also forms the southern boundary of the Aegean Sea to the open Mediterranean Sea. On Karpathos live only a little more than 6,000 inhabitants. Most of them certainly in the main village of the same name in the southeast, which used to be called Pigadia.
