Macau is located on the southern coast of China on the South China Sea and consists of the Macau Peninsula and the islands of Taipa and Coloane. The main ferry port in Macau is the Terminal Marítimo do Porto Exterior (Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal) on the Macau Peninsula. Another important ferry port is the Taipa Ferry Terminal on Taipa Island. There are regular ferry connections between Macau and Hong Kong.
