International ferry connections to Holland exist from Great Britain and Norway. The shipping company Stena Line operates several times a day between Hoek van Holland (district of Rotterdam) and the English port city of Harwich. Another route is offered by P&O Ferries between Rotterdam and the city of Hull. Since 2022 there is also a ferry connection from Eemshaven to Kristiansand in Norway (2023 exceptionally from Emden or Cuxhaven in Germany).
