St. Peter Line

The Russian shipping company St. Peter Line Cruises has its eponymous headquarters in St. Petersburg. It operates mainly on scheduled services between Russia, Estonia, Finland and Sweden. Since 2016, it has been part of the Moby Lines shipping company and changed its name to Moby SPL.

With the merger with Moby Lines, the operational area was also expanded to the Mediterranean. The MS Princess Maria, which until then had also been stationed in the Baltic Sea, was immediately transferred to the Mediterranean in 2016 and renamed Moby Dada. The remaining MS Princess Anastasia continues to operate on the Baltic Sea routes.

St. Peter Line Cruises has combined scheduled and cruises on the Baltic itinerary Saint Petersburg – Helsinki – Tallinn – Stockholm – Helsinki – Saint Petersburg on offer. A 7-day cruise including a visa-free stay in St. Petersburg, various 3-5 day short cruises, as well as cruise programs specifically focused on cultural attractions are offered alongside and as part of the scheduled service.

MS Princess Anastasia was built in 1986 at the Wärtsilä shipyard in Turku, Finland, as a comfortable cruise ferry. The sister ship of MS Viking Mariella operated for Viking Line on the Stockholm – Helsinki line until 1992. Afterwards (until 2010) she operated for P&O Ferries between Bilbao and Portsmouth. In 2011 she was completely refurbished and put into service with Moby SPL. The ship has ice class 1 A Super and can reach 22 knots cruising speed.

For travellers, the ship offers all the amenities of a modern cruise ship. From affordable 4-berth cabins, to comfortable 2-berth cabins, to elegant luxury suites, you’ll find a wide range of offerings to suit every budget. Different restaurants with buffet or à la carte cater for the physical well-being. The casino, various bars and evening shows offer plenty of entertainment. The spa and sauna area, gym and beauty salon offer plenty of opportunities for relaxation. For the entertainment of younger travellers there is a supervised play paradise.
