Gütersloh

Gütersloh is located in the northeast of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia and lies on the edge of the Teutoburg Forest. Already in the year 1184 the place was mentioned for the first time in a document. It is a city that has much to offer you as a visitor culturally and in which there are several sights. Worth a visit are the neo-Gothic Martin Luther Church, a Protestant hall church built in 1857, and the oldest church in the city, the Apostle Church. Near the Old Church Square at the Apostle Church, there is also a half-timbered building worth seeing, dating from the 17th to 19th centuries. Particularly well known is the Veerhoffhaus from 1649.
