The Cyclades island of Kea is about 150 km² in size and has just under 3,000 inhabitants. Here you will find everything you could wish for a vacation in and with nature - mountainous expanses and deep gorges, steep slopes, plateaus and valleys, picturesque bays and long beaches. The capital of the island is Loulida. Sights on Kea include castle ruins from ancient times, several monasteries such as those of Aghios Symeon and Panagia Kastriani, and an archaeological museum. The most beautiful sandy and pebble beaches can be found in Gialiskari, Otzias, Vourkari, Koudouras, Lygia, Kampi, Xila, Spathi, Kalidonichi, Sykamia, Psathi, Orkos or in Karthaia.
