Some like Lipsi because of its special charm. Only a few people live on Lipsi. Narrow, clean alleys, several taverns, a lot of peace and very friendly people make for a relaxing vacation. The island is very small and can be easily explored on foot. However, there are buses that go to the beaches, of which there are half a dozen with sand or pebbles. Accommodations are plentiful for visitors and so far very inexpensive. The picturesque landscape of Lipsi is barren, the hills round and low, so hikers will feel at home here.
