What does a letter to Germany cost?
Compared to Germany, sending letters and postcards in Denmark is very expensive.
Since there is only one category for postcards, small and large letters: everything up to 2 kg falls into the category Brev Udland and costs the following postage depending on the weight (as of December 2019):

- According to the Danish Post Office PostNord, letters and postcards from Denmark to Germany take 3-6 days to arrive.
- The letter may be a maximum of 60 cm long. The sum of length, width and height must not exceed 90 cm.
- The rates also apply to letters to Austria, Switzerland and other European countries.
Important: For fast delivery, the letter or postcard should have the blue adhesive label "Prioritaire". If you don't have one handy, you can also write "Prioritaire" by hand on the envelope (to the left of the stamp).
