Linnanmäki Amusement Park (also known colloquially as Lintsi) opened in 1950 and is located on a hill near the centre of Helsinki. The oldest and most popular amusement park in Finland is run by the charity and children's charity Lasten Päivän Säätiö.

Breathtaking attractions and entertainment for the whole family.

Around 40 rides of various sizes provide thrills and unforgettable moments. Viikinkilaiva is modelled on a Viking ship and takes brave visitors on an adventurous ride at a height of 10 metres. The most famous is probably the wooden roller coaster Vuoristorata, which was built in 1951. The free fall tower Raketti is also not for the faint hearted. While the Top Spin Kieputin turns the world of the passengers upside down, the roller coaster Kirnu reaches a stately maximum speed of 60 km/h. One of the latest additions is the Taiga ride, which has a maximum speed of 106 km/h and provides a lot of adrenaline. Taiga was developed especially for Linnanmäki and plays with the feeling of weightlessness.

Several of the rides offer the option of having your photo taken at the end of a particularly fast section of the ride. If you're in the mood for something sweet after so much adventure, a visit to the "Cotton Candy School" is worthwhile, because here young visitors learn how to make their own cotton candy. Numerous games in the Minimäki Area also invite visitors to try out and hone their own skills. For example, you can win various souvenirs to take home by shooting or throwing a basketball.

A spooky atmosphere prevails in the haunted house "Kyöpelinvuoren hotelli", which provides fear and terror with dark and eerie rooms. On hot summer days, a white-water rafting trip along an impressive waterfall provides refreshment. Culinary delights such as homemade doughnuts and colourful freak shakes cater not only to the cravings of the younger crowd. Personalised waffles and popcorn from the popcorn factory will also get children's hearts racing.

Fresh and healthy meals are served at the lovingly decorated Mexican restaurant "Flores FreshMex" or at the family buffet of the Caruzello restaurant, among others. Right next to the Linnanmäki theme park is Sea Life, where you can admire tropical fish, sharks and rays in its aquariums.

Magnificent view from a height of 53 metres

A gigantic overview of Helsinki can be enjoyed from the 53-metre Panorama Sightseeing Tower. A spectacular event is the annual Festival of Lights, held at the end of each season in autumn. Then Linnanmäki shines in bright and flashing colours for several evenings. Fire-eaters and acrobats invite you to dream, and the fireworks also conjure up an atmosphere all of their own.
