Mårten Trotzigs gränd is an extremely narrow alley in Gamla Stan, Stockholm's old town. It runs from Prästgatan to Västerlånggatan near Järntorget.

The narrowest alley in Stockholm

The small alley with the 36 steps was named after the merchant Mårten Trotzig, who was born in Wittenberg. At its narrowest point, it is only 90 cm wide, making it Stockholm's narrowest alley. In the middle of the 19th century, the alley was closed at both ends by planks, but was reopened in 1945.
