Stockholms Medeltidsmuseet, the Medieval Museum, has exhibitions on Stockholm's medieval history from the city's beginnings in the 13th century to the end of the Middle Ages (beginning with the reign of King Gustav I Wasa).

The relatively small museum is located right next to the Royal Castle on the island of Helgeandsholmen. The entrance is directly under the Norrbro, Stockholm's oldest stone bridge. The more than 850 exhibits are explained by means of an audio guide also in German.
