Båthall 2 is an independent part of the Maritime History Museum in Stockholm. The inconspicuous building is located on the Djurgården peninsula very close to the Vasa Museum and contains one of the largest historical boat collections in Europe.
More than 50 boats from the 18th to 20th centuries are exhibited on two floors, the showpiece of the exhibition is the royal magnificent launch Vasorden, which was used at the weddings of King Gustav and Crown Princess Victoria.
The museum is only open during the summer months and is run in cooperation with the Veteranbåtsföreningen association. Admission to Båthall 2 is free.
