Musée Royal de l'Armée

The Royal Army Museum (Koninklijk Legermuseum) is located in the Jubelpark in the northern halls of the museum complex and was opened in 1923.

It is the largest military museum with the most extensive collection in the world, covering 12. centuries of military history. More than 10,000 exhibits such as uniforms, armor, flags, swords, weapons and photographs are displayed in a total area of 40,000 square meters. The exhibits range from the Middle Ages to modern times. The visitor also gets a lot of interesting information about Belgian military history, the Battle of Waterloo, which took place between 1815 and 1830, and insights into the workings of the Belgian military.

Particularly impressive is the more than 100 meter long hall with more than 80 aircraft and tanks from all eras.
