With the Museum of Technology and Shipping(Teknikens och Sjöfartens hus), Malmö offers a special treat to anyone interested in historical technology. Here, visitors can trace the development of aviation and conduct scientific experiments in an experimentarium. In the museum, which opened in 1923, technology history can be experienced up close. Flying machines, streetcars and cars can be marveled at, as can machines of all kinds. One of the museum's highlights is a World War II submarine on display outside.
