The Cyclades island of Mykonos is located quite centrally in the Aegean Sea, in the middle between the Peloponnese and the Turkish mainland. The regional district of Mykonos includes Delos and the uninhabited island of Rinia. Mykonos has a good 10,000 inhabitants. Here, too, the capital, located in the west, bears the name of the island, which is particularly popular with tourists.
