Paddan Boat Tour

There are many ways to explore the city by bus or by boat tour. A popular method with locals and tourists alike is a "Paddan Tour".

The tours on the flat little boats take you through the city's ditches and canals and under twenty bridges, some of which are extremely low. One of them is popularly known as the Cheese Slicer - here you even have to crouch down on the floor in front of your seat as you pass through. The Paddantouren offer a great first view of Gothenburg and its sights.

Hop-on hop-off tickets are also now available. A cheap alternative is the Älvsnabbben, a passenger ferry that runs between Lilla Bommen and Klippan and is part of the city's public transport system.
