Parc des Bastions

The Parc des Bastions is one of the many city parks of Geneva, which should not be missed on any sightseeing tour. Located in the city centre, you can admire relaxing nature and beautiful promenades as well as a number of impressive monuments. Among others, the university and the library of the city are located on site. After a free game of chess in the restaurant at the Concert Pavilion, you can then admire the International Reformation Monument. This was built in 1909 and consists of a wall about 100 meters long, decorated with various stone sculptures. In addition to the most important heads of the Reformation, such as John Calvin, the decisive stations of the history of the Reformation were also immortalized here.
