Pula

Pula is the oldest and largest city on the Istrian peninsula. The trademark of the city is the Roman amphitheater. This was the second largest arena of the Roman Empire. Nowadays, many events such as gladiator show fights or concerts still take place here. The impressive Augustus Temple or the Forum Square also attract numerous visitors. Through the Arc de Triomphe you reach the lively city center with its numerous stores, which invite you to go shopping. Bathing vacationers and water sports enthusiasts will find countless beaches and quiet bathing bays around Pula. Many of the beaches have been awarded the "Blue Flag".
