Salina is considered the most beautiful of the Lipari Islands. Full of greenery, it presents itself with its two extinct volcanoes, of which Monte Fossa delle Felci, at 962 meters, is the highest peak of the entire archipelago. The view from one of the villas over the azure sea is breathtaking. Malvasia wine, olives and capers thrive here. Beautiful small villages invite you to stroll between palm trees, bougainvilleas and rose bushes. In Lingua and Rinella you will find small beaches with black sand. Bed castles and mass tourism are not to be found here. You can experience real dolce vita while walking and dreaming in one of the trattorias.

On the island of Salina there are three political municipalities: the main town of Santa Marina Salina to the east, Leni with the ferry port of Rinella to the south and Malfa to the north.
