The Ligurian Sea is a secondary sea of the Mediterranean and borders on the countries of France, Italy and Monaco. To the north, the sea is bordered by Monaco and the Riviera coast, while to the east it is bordered by Tuscany. At its deepest point, the Ligurian Sea is about 2,615 meters deep and is located in the Gulf of Genoa. One of the most famous rivers running into the Ligurian Sea is the Arno, which comes from Italy and is 240 kilometers long. The most famous ports on the Ligurian Sea are located in Genoa, La Spezia and Livorno, which borders the Tyrrhenian Sea.
