About 110 kilometers north of the Greek capital Athens is the island of Skiathos on the edge of the western Aegean Sea. It belongs to the Northern Sporades. On its coasts are the most beautiful beaches in Greece. The southern part of the island is completely dedicated to tourism, from spring to late autumn it is a hive of activity, while in the north there is hardly a soul to be found.
