Empire State Building

The Empire State Building is one of the most famous landmarks in the United States and a symbol of the city of New York. It stands in Manhattan at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. Completed in 1931, it was the tallest building in the world for decades and is still one of the tallest buildings in New York City. With its 102 floors and a height of 381 meters (443.2 meters with antenna), it attracts millions of visitors from all over the world every year.

One of the main reasons for the popularity of the Empire State Building is its impressive architecture in the Art Deco style. The facade is made of limestone and granite, while the interior of the building has richly decorated marble floors, ceilings and walls. The Empire State Building is also known for its illumination, where the top of the tower shines in different colors at night to celebrate special occasions or holidays.

One of the main attractions of the Empire State Building is the observation deck on the 86th floor, which offers a breathtaking 360-degree view of New York City and the surrounding area. On a clear day, visitors can see up to 130 kilometers away and admire landmarks such as the Chrysler Building, One World Trade Center, Central Park and the Statue of Liberty. There is also a lesser-known observation deck on the 102nd floor that offers an even better view.

The Empire State Building is not only a tourist attraction, but also an office building that houses companies from various industries. It has received numerous awards over the years and was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1986.
