Iraklia
Iraklia belongs to the Small Cyclades and although Iraklia is the largest island, it is the most sparsely populated, with two quiet settlements and a mostly mountainous area. The only road on the island starts in Agios Georgios, passes through Livadi beach (the most beautiful beach on Iraklia) continues to Panagia and ends in Turkopigado bay with a pebbly beach.

Only 150 inhabitants, living mainly in the port town of Stavros, try to attract tourism to the very barren and rocky mountain island. A recommended activity is hiking. This is only possible with good shoes and physical fitness. In the bathing bays you will meet only a few people. If you are looking for peace and solitude and are content with little, you will find a small paradise on Donussa.
